Beauty retail / HIGH-UP ADS
What are we actually optimising for?
Measurement audit and Meta and Google campaigns.
See what we did ↓We worked on a beauty retailer’s Meta and Google campaigns. The initial audit also examined conversion definitions: engagement actions and purchases needed to be read separately.
First, agree on what a sale is.
A beauty store can track many signs of interest: a video view, a product visit, an interaction with the brand. Useful information, but not interchangeable answers to “how many orders did this bring?”
The historical June 2026 audit identified issues in how conversion actions were defined and prioritised. Before judging performance from a report column, we needed to understand what fed it.
They watched.
They paid attention.
They visited.
They were interested.
They purchased.
There is an order.
Campaigns need a clear foundation.
The documented contribution includes Meta and Google campaigns, alongside measurement analysis. The audit made the distinction between interest, optimisation goals and recorded orders explicit.
For the owner, the consequence is practical. A question about sales needs an answer about purchases. A question about attention can include engagement, with its role made clear.
The same meeting.
Better questions.
What feeds this column?
Ask for the action definition, the period and the source of the value. A metric earns its place in a discussion when everyone knows what it represents.
What does the buyer need to understand?
Start with questions about the product and retailer. A piece of creative can attract attention; the page needs to continue the explanation.
What supports the next change?
Keep attention signals separate from attributed orders. Engagement volume cannot establish profitability.
A HIGH-UP ADS demonstration. Illustrative content, independent of the client’s materials.
The impressive number can wait. Its meaning cannot.
We started by checking what the account counted as a conversion. Otherwise, we could have optimised for an action that looked good in the report without being an order.
